Profile picture not showing

So my friend changed her whatsapp profile picture. I was not able to see it, all I saw was default blank picture. I reinstalled whatsapp and saw new picture. Then, a day later, no picture again. Tried to reinstall, didn't help. She havn't blocked me or deleted me from her contacts, we still chat. But I don't see her profile picture.

There's an option in settings to allow certain contacts to see various things about each other, and the profile pic is one of them that can be blocked for certain individuals that you don't want them to see, so it maybe that she has blocked her profile pic for some and you are one of them.

Ok, thanks for answer, I didn't know that. But it that's the case, then why I was not able to see picture - saw it after reinstalled app - I'm no longer able to see it again?

Possible she changed settings in between, just ask her.

Could also be an image cache issue.

I was talking about your friend, they maybe changed their settings.

It seems that there is no fix for this problem...

There may be a limitation on file size, ask her to make her image smaller by cropping.
