Prompt for USB cable insert?

When you plug a usb cable into the Evo that's connected to a computer (as opposed to a charger), a prompt comes up asking you what to do.

...or it did on mine, until I told it to mount as a drive, and clicked the "don't prompt me anymore checkbox". I thought:

1. it would just keep my choice in the future (no, defaults to just charge)
2. it would be easy to get the prompt back from settings (but I can't find it)

Does anyone know how to get that prompt back? I'm pretty sure it actually said how to do so when I clicked it, but I'm obviously remembering the details wrong since I can't find it.

have you tried going into settings > Connect to PC?

i believe both options you are looking for are right there in that area.

You could also click on something on the notifications bar, that should bring up the options.
