Protecting the leather strap

Hello everyone,

I just recently migrated back from ios and pick up a note 4 (great phone). I ordered a moto 360 stone leather last night.

I plan on using my moto 360, beyond every day life, for running and the gym...and would like to not have to worry about getting it wet.

Anyone tried to condition or water proof the leather band? How did it work for you?
