Proud new owner of an Epic

Back in September I entered Sprint Premier Status, had played around with the EVO and the Epic in store quite a bit. Bought the Epic today. Moved up from a Samsung Exclaim. Got a little bit of a learning curve, but am looking forward to figuring this beast out and enjoying the phone for the next year or more.

I recently joined the "Android Club" with my new Epic. I love it already!! I had a Palm Pre for a little over a year (had a Centro before that so it was the next logical step), and after 2 days with my new Epic, it beats the CRAP out of the Pre!! Playing with them in the stores doesn't do them justice. Glad to be a part of the Android community!

Welcome, it's a great phone and OS. I ultimately made the switch from Verizon to Sprint because of this phone, coupled with Sprint's value and coverage.

Yeah, have pretty much been messing with the phone since I got home. Changed a few settings, installed some apps, still got more to do, but am quite ready to be an Android user.

I agree with you. Just got mine today (had a Hero). I feel like I dont have enough time to explore this thing, I'm just loving this phone.

Congrats to all you new owners. I know when you come to this forum, you will probably read a lot of rants and complaints about issues with the phone but don't let it discourage you. Keep in mind most are unique experiences with the phone and that the wide complaints are being worked on constantly (ie case and point the update that was just released). I love my epic and just recently used the Allshare app to stream a Divx movie to my PS3. Overall, the features will outweigh any complaint you see here.
