I'm posting this for a friend; I don't have a Droid myself.
I have a question about the proximity sensor.
Say she's on a call, and wants to look up a number or something. She hits Home to get to the main menu, and does some task.
When she wants to get back to the phone call screen, she tries to hit the phone icon in the upper toolbar, but since she's on a call, her finger trips the proximity sensor and the screen blacks before she can get to the Return to Call item.
Is that how it's supposed to work? Does the proximity sensor still black the screen if you're in speaker phone mode?
Thanks
