PS3 Controller via OTG?

Hey guys, just wondering has anyone successfully connected (meaning it works within the phone [games, scrolling, etc.]) a PS3 Controller to their LG G2 via OTG to micro usb wire? I don't want to buy a OTG wire and not have it work thats why. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

OTG works with the G2, I was using an optical mouse with it so if a ps3 controller works on other android devices, it should on this one.
