More specifically, the TaskChanger plug in. If you choose to have full gesture navigation and have no buttons/hints showing, swiping up on the Home button no longer triggers Assistant. If you have the traditional button navigation bar showing or choosing gestures but showing hints for where the buttons should be, then it works.

Hopefully they'll update soon to fix it, but at least there is a not-so-intrusive way to get it working in the meantime.

A little update. This is JUST when using Samsung gestures. If you use the stock launcher and choose to use Google gesture navigation, since that uses the corners to launch Assistant and not the Home button, that also works. It's the Home button area when hidden that is 'broken' with Task Changer, so that's why.

Thanks @mustang7757 for testing this!

I rarely use assistant so I didn't notice it, but yes when using Samsung gestures the swipe up and hold to launch assistant is not working.

Task Changer update completely messes up my Outlook app. Cant mass delete spam. Inbox is listed as spam. Cant open inbox most of the time. Outlook worked fine until I installed this. Deleted Task Changer and it worked fine.

It also breaks pull down notifications.

Not sure. Everything still works perfectly after enabling task changer. Am using full gestures and still launch Google assistant using side swipe.

Yeah works fine for me as well with full gestures and bottom side swipe to bring up Google Assistant. Middle swipe up for multi tasking window or home screen.

You're using Google navigation gestures. If you use Samsung's (from the HOME button), they break with Task Changer.

I'm just glad QuickStar is working again. Clock is finally back on the right side by the battery indicator, where it belongs.

Was happy for this. But annoyed with clock position changing back to left side when slide the notifications. I do like removing battery icon (showing only percentage now) and it is consistent even when am looking at notifications.
