Public WiFi Access Issue for LG Aristo 2 Plus

Was given this phone and had been able to navigate controls to access Public WiFi. Cannot remember what I did but have not been able to navigate internet since. Guidance sought.

Are you talking about public wi-fi networks that require you to go to an initial login page? If so, are you having trouble getting that initial captive portal login window?

Much thanks for the reply. In attempting to connect with the 'safe' public wifi networks, I encountered a university login page. This is new but as I have been logging on to this network without this "portal". Any guidance in this regard is appreciated.

Have you already spoken to the IT for the university? If you were able to connect using that network before without logging in, then perhaps they just recently instituted this security. Also, there might be separate university networks with different names, one that's open for guests, and another that requires a login -- could that be the case?
