Pulling down notification shade

On the S10/One UI is it possible to bring down the notification shade any other way than pulling it from the top of the screen?

A deal-breaker if not. It would be a very stupid choice.

You can pull down anywhere on the home screen if you turn on the setting, just like Oreo.

Oh really what setting is that I never knew that? I just got pie and the new UI thev the other day on my 9 plus.

In your home screen, go to home screen setting. And then toggle quick open notification toggle. Then do it for everyone you know who has this phone.
