Ok I have now found out the button presses needed to get into the Flash Mode and Recovery Mode on a Pulse when rebooting.
Flash Mode: Vol Down + Red Key and tap the Power Button
Recovery Mode (Post-December Update ONLY): Menu + Red Key and tap the Power Button
If you have not SuperRoot'd or added RA-pulse-v1.5.2 to your Pulse you will get a crappy blue screen with three fairly useless options when you reboot into recovery mode.
