Purchased a book on play books.

So I just bought a book on the play store, but when I downloaded and opened it, the page was completely white. So I thought that maybe if I redownloaded it , it would fix itself. Now I can't get the book back on my device. Play still says that I have purchased it, but note in order for me to read it I have to open play books and select read from there, because it isn't showing up in the play books app. any suggestions?

perhaps you can get a version of the google reader app to run on another device or desktop and try a download from there...

It doesn't show up on my phone either. I still have to open play store and open it from there.

I would contact Google support. I have purchased books from Play and they show up just fine on mine. It has to be a glitch on their end.

let the play book sync(update books from cloud)

settings-->account [Google]-->[your account]-->uncheck and check google play books.

Do you have more than one GMail account? Perhaps your book was purchased under a different account. Have you verified that the account that your Play Books app is logged into is the same account that the book was purchased under?

I only use one account to purchase books. And it showed up in my books widget, before this all happened, so I know that I used the right account.

Have you tried clearing the cache and/or data of the Play Books app? Perhaps that will get it to properly register the new book.
