Push notifications not working for Mail

I have noticed the last few days that I haven't got any email notifications in the mail application on my inspire 4g. Has anyone noticed this problem as well?

Mail fails right now for HTC's Inspire 4G. I called AT&T and they immediately referred me to HTC, who tried but (very nicely) told me they couldn't do anything until Gingerbread.

For the record, I have an @live.com Hotmail account. What email provider do you have?

Recommend getting original android email app instead of htc email app.

i got the yahoo app and it works great. the stock gmail one is crap always has been since i got my phone. i hope gingerbread fixes the problem.
