Haveing the same issue...79% of battery in 4h 2m of being idle. Battery is at approx 50%. Has anyone found a fix? Thanks!

Cleared this a couple weeks ago and noticed battery draining bad today. Sure enough it was back. Odd. Have no clue why, but it had 58% of battery usage.

Did you turn your phone off then back on ? That will cause it to return.

Does anyone really know what this is? I have been monitoring my TB since i got it yesterday and ive notice that this PVMtSS is eating 89% of resources constantly - whereas os, standby and idle are consuming 5% and 3 and 3% respectively.

I'd really like to know what this is that seems to be the killer of the battery. I really love the phone, but it may be on it's way back to vzw. I'm not fighting with a battery.

I have been asking this question, How can you tell that PVMtSS is eating 89% of resources constantly.....I have something killing my battery and desperately trying to figure out what it is!

After reading this I checked mine and my phone doesn't show any PVMtSS at all. I'm not bragging but trying to see if we can anrrow this thing down. I don't think I have my settings any different than anyone else (or majority of people) on here. I am looking in MENU>SETTINGS>ABOUT PHONE>BATTERY>BATTERY USE and it's not there. i have 11hrs up time and 2 hrs awake time with 78% battery.
