Hey -
I've been quietly reading the Froyo updates over the last few days.. updating to DL30, then EB01 today. On both of those builds, I seem to be plagued with the "Open Wi-Fi networks available" message. On pre-2.2 builds I was able to easily find the checkbox under WiFi settings to disable this notification. Now, I don't see it.
Has anyone found where to disabled it for 2.2? Am I blatantly missing it somewhere?
I simply have no need for the phone to tell me when wifi networks are around.. If I want wifi, I search, if not, I use 3G. So, having this notification popup all day at work (i don't connect my phone to work wifi) is a bit annoying.
THANKS to anyone that can help me disable this.
