Q on navigation

Suppose I take watch with me but leave phone at home. Navigation should not work. For example, if I want to navigate to home from work, the watch will say you are already at home.

Correct?

I asked a similar question for Uber and someone said it won't work.

No, not true. When not connected via BT, the watch will use its own GPS for navigation. It will work just fine although your phone at home will start announcing turn by turn directions.
