[Q] Using a nandroid backup from another Fascinate

My wife's Fascinate is completely stock, so if I were to root, flash CWM, and make a backup, would I be able to use that backup on my phone to bring it back to stock? I know I can go back to stock via Odin, just curious if this would cause any problems.

I've used a stock nandroid some one posted to restore my phone. So yes, you would end up with a clone of her phone. Nandroid doesn't flash the kernel, so if you have a custom one, it will still be there. But you will have the stock rom and apps and such.

Yep, it'll backup the system, and you could restore it on any other Fascinate. Not even sure you have to root... could just flash Clockwork through Odin and run it from the actual recovery (as opposed to ROM Manager).
