Qhy wont google assistant respond

[Android Central Question]

I have a Note 20 and no matter what I do google assistant does not work...i have done voice training and been through all the settings but it does not answer when I talk, anyone else have this issue?

Try clearing data and force stop the Google app then go back in assistant and turn on , if doesn't work try Uninstall the update to Google app and don't let play store update it.

Also check if there a update in play store

Are you trying to use the Hey Google to activate it? Have you tried activating her via the diagonal swipe from the bottom of the screen? If you do this does she activate and answer you? You could download and install the assistant app from the Play Store and see what happens then.
