QR Code scan is not working.

Hello, I always used Web Whatsapp, but now QR scan, seems to not work.

I have latest version of Whatsapp on my Samsung A5 2016, with Android 7.0.
On pc I use latest version of Chrome on Windows 10 x64, all updated.
Last time I used web whatsapp, was 1 month ago. Now I'm trying to scan the code, and it doesn't work anymore. It just shows the square and continue to scan the QR code forever.

With a QR Code app, my phone works fine to scan other QR codes. So it's just the web whatsapp one to not work.
I also tried to delete browser cookies and cache, clean and reinstall whatsapp on phone, increase the dimensions of QR code on the web page.
Nothing.

You might want to chat to the whatsap devs about this...

I figured out what the problem was. I use an extension for Chrome, called "Dark Reader", that makes all darker...obviously.
And with this extension active, Whatsapp wasn't able to scan the qr code, even if it was clearly readable.

Thanks so much for this, it was driving me crazy and I also forgot that I had the darkness chrome extension.

Thank you so much for this, was trying to log into WhatsApp Web with a new phone and this issue was driving me nuts!
