QR Droid and Battery Usage

I have a Fascinate with standard Android on it. I also have the QR Droid app for scanning QR's. When I go to the settings - about phone - battery, it always shows that the QR Droid is running and using battery. Even when the app has not been open and I have used Advanced Task Killer to make sure it is closed. I unplugged the phone from the charger about 20 minutes ago and the battery usage shows QR Droid as using 10% (it's usually higher). Should it be using my battery even when all indications are that it's closed?

My battery has been **** as of late. I started using launcher pro and the advanced google APK oh and I use Dolphin HD browser. That is the only difference. I probally have 7 hrs from off charger to dead! I am on stock everything. Waiting for OTA getting really pissed off waiting. I know its easy just want to start messing around after the OTA. I dont use a task killer or anything. What do you think the problem is???

its the EB01 build as stated before i highly recommend juice defender, also if you want to start from scratch, try corys stock engineered EB01 build(top of the page sticky) to see if you notice any changes in your battery usage.

I'm on stock ea28 and battery sucks. I wonder if it has to do with the google apk file. Any help without rooting would be nice.

I'm running SC2.6 and my battery still sucks. i tried following Gunnermikes keep rebooting till the battery is all the way down then i shut off the phone and recharged to 100% like 10 mins later i was down to 92% just sitting in my pocket.

Any advice here or is it what is till someone fixes it?

JuiceDefender doesn't work either. I ran it past 2 days no difference. The battery on these phones is horrendous. Plain and simple.
