So I got tired of the QRC sticker on the back of my phone and peeled it off. In the past when I've done this I use some rubbing alcohol and a paper towela be the residual adhesive comes right off. For some reason this time it just smeared it. I ended up having to scrub pretty hard to get the adhesive off. Do I need to worry about having put too much pressure on the back glass? The phone was on my bed at the front glad was being pushed down into pillow top memory foam.

I would worry about breaking both the screen and the back (and I'd use use Goof Off instead).

?????? I didn't have any goo gone on hand. So you can damage the glass by scrubbing it hard. Well crap. It's not cracked so hopefully I didn't weaken it or something.

No, your won't damage the glass. Rubbing alcohol could definitely damage things like oleophobic coatings and seals though.

What's a QRC sticker? I'm pretty sure i know the sticker you're talking about, but I'm not familiar with that initialisation.

It's a lil square sticker with a QRC. Apparently Verizon puts them on but other carriers done. Super annoying. I'm not worried about oleophobic coating on the back (if it's even there) and I kept the alcohol to the center. As long as I didn't damage the glass

I just figured out you mean a QR code lol.

I was more talking about if you inadvertently got it on the front. Either way you should keep rubbing alcohol away from your phone... It's your phone though, do as you wish.

If you think about it for a second, the idea that you could damage gorilla glass with a paper towel is a bit silly really. Corning wouldn't sell much of it if it were that delicate!

Thinking about this I guess GG6 should be able to take pressure since that's how it's made lol.
