Question about 2.1 update

I have my hero rooted but I never downloaded a rom on it. Will I have to change anything when the 2.1 update gets released?

that depends...do you want to stay rooted, or use the stock 2.1? Chances are the stock 2.1 update will close the root access that we have now.

Personally, I'd suggest using the custom rom's, especially once 2.1 comes out.

Is there a guide to how to flash custom rom??? I know how to root...but I have not seen how to flash custom rom.
