question about calendar(s) on my LG V40 thinQ

I realised my LG V40 ThinQ comes with it's own calendar app, but my google calendar also downloaded when I moved my info across from old phone to LG V40. I am using the google one, but other calendar also works; anything I put in google calendar goes into other calendar. And I get reminders twice.
Anyway to disable, or preferably, delete the calendar app that came with the LG40??
I know I can delete the google calendar app, but I do not want to. I prefer the google calanedar app. The LG V40 calendar app has less colors (Yes I color code appointments, working, vacations, etc,)
Just curious if I can delete the LG V40 calendar app??

You typically can't delete the stock Calendar app, but on most devices, you can Disable it without any problems. Do you have that option in Settings>Apps​?

Yes, thanks, I have that option. But when I go there, it tells me if I force stop and then disable, it tells me if I do that it could effect other things, programs.
Would it effect anything??

That's a standard message that shows up when you Disable an app. It shouldn't cause any issues, but if it does, you can always re-enable the app easily.
