Question About Flashing Roms

Ok...so I bit the bullet and rooted my Bionic (I've never rooted before) and I used bootstrap to backup my stock rom. So...I'd like to put the SHIFT3R rom on my phone, and I noticed it's based off of the .893 build. Do I have to have that leaked update installed to use the rom? Or will I be okay without it? I really don't want to do any flashing until I'm sure everything will be fixable should I mess something up lol

You don't have to do anything beforehand, go ahead and flash shifter!

Since the ROM is built off 5.7.893 you get the benefits of the upgraded system, the only thing you don't get is upgraded kernal and radio files, as only the leaked OTA can do that since our bootloaders are locked up. So if that isn't a big deal to you then just dive right into Shift3r.
