Question about future updates for Tab for WiFi only users

I'm a little fuzzy on exactly how the Galaxy Tab will get it's updates. My EVO has a section under settings called "System Updates".....the Gal Tab seems to be missing this section. I don't use my Tab 3g so I'm hoping updates don't roll out over (in my case) Verizon's data towers. Anyone know anything about this?

I'm not sure how they will come out but I'm sure once an update has been released you will be able to download it here and apply it yourself.

If you go to "About Device" in system settings (2nd from bottom), the first listing at the top says system updates.

tmobile tab

I have the t-mobile version of the tab how do I check for software updates.I try about tablet but I don't see system upgrade. Any one can help thanks.

On my Sprint Tab, under settings, there is an option for "About my Galaxy Tab." Under that is a place for system updates. I don't know if it is different on the T-Mobile version.

It's different on the t-mobile Tab. It's lacking the option for system updates.

i guess we all here will find out when the next firmware comes out , plus if i am not mistaken 2.3 is right around the corner followed by 3.0 for android.
