Question about HBOOT driver

I tried to root my Aria a few months ago and installed the HBOOT driver prompted by Unrevoked. However, I had problems and almost bricked my phone, so i gave up, but never uninstalled the driver, nor do I know how to. I want to update to FROYO with the AT&T update. Will my phone get bricked if i update with the driver still on my phone? And if so, how can i uninstall it?
