Question about LTE..

So I have ATT GSiii but my carrier is T-mobile and I have 4G but when I am in certain spots my 4G logo turns Into a 4G logo with LTE should I be worried? Would I be charged extra for this?

You are not receiving lte. The phone is displaying a icon for signal it sees. It can not use it you do not have the correct hardware
