Does the Nexus have Simultaneous voice/data over 4G? Sorry if this question was asked already.

if i'm correct, I believe simultaneous voice/data is possible on any phone that has 4G LTE. and it only works when you have a 4G connection. if you're in a building, and you're only getting a 3G connection, it's not going to work.

That's my understanding too.

That is accurate.

I've never lost 4G simply because I was in a building.

That is how the BIONIC worked, very convenient when someone tells you to look something up. You can say I can't find it before you hang up.

yeah, you need 4G or Wifi. The Thunderbolt is the only one currently available on Verizon that can do it over 3G.

How is this possible on the thunderdolt, but not other phones on 3G.I thought the 3G limit was due to the CDMA technology.

It's more of a limitation of the hardware on other phones at this point. CDMA is capable of SVDO but the phones need the correct chipset and apparently the Qualcomm in the Thunderbolt is the only one that supports it. The Rezound looks to have the same modem so it may also support SVDO

HTC put in a radio capable of SVDO. However Verizon doesn't advertise it because it isn't exactly optimal. People have said it works pretty well, but if everyone did it, it would probably be incredibly slow.
