Had it, loved it, couldn't resist trying the new Blackberry Priv. I wanted to love the Priv, I actually did for about 5 days then things went down hill and that's a whole other thread. My question is this. Could someone look on the Play Store and tell me if I can download the Blackberry Keyboard app for the V10? I think that is by far the best virtual keyboard on the market.

I can see it when I search for it on the Priv but I booted up an old HTC One and did a search for it and it wasn't there.

I'm not seeing it either. Sorry.

Similar to you, I came from the HTC M8 and loved the HTC keyboard. Closest to it I could find was SwiftKey.

So I'm curious as to why it went downhill for you? I'm considering making the same switch.

I checked from my desktop and I could find the Blackberry keyboard but the Play Store indicated it was incompatible with all my devices, including my V10.

That said, it appears our friends at XDA have extracted the files and created an APK that can be installed on any Android phone. Here is the link if your interested in going that route: How To Install BlackBerry Keyboard, Launcher, And Calendar Apps On Any Android Phone

Downloaded the keyboard fine. Having issues with the launcher. This keyboard is making my Lookout app go nuts. Calling it malware. This is legit right ?

I checked the link again and while it is legit, you never know when side-loading APK's. I changed my original post to go straight to the XDA thread with the links. I suggest trying the APK from there.

It may also just be a false positive from Lookout because you are installing from a non-approved source (ie Google Play). But l like the way you think....can't be too careful. I'd try the XDA link and see if you still get the warnings.
