question: do you turn off your phone at night?

i havent ever with any of my samsung phones, i restart them every few days. only time theyll ever get shut off for extended periods of time is if im somewhere im unable to use my phone for awhile, like somewhere with no signal for more than a day. even then most the time i just put them in airplane mode so i still have a way to tell time lol

That periodic restart is really helpful. Got out of the habit when the phones improved to the point they were seldom freezing up or crashing.

I often wonder (alright, maybe I KNOW) that my technology is contributing towards my insomnia. Instead of sleeping I'm browsing the web, reading email, or playing just 1 more game (MANY 1 more games) of Clash of Clans. LOL

I turn my note 8 off every night. Allways turn off my mobile phone, someone wants to get in contact with me, they wait till morning, lol.

I use one of my old BlackBerry phones as my alarm clock.

Nice to know you're dependable in an emergency. With Priority mode - why would anyone need to ever turn off their cell phones at night (besides tinfoil hats)?

My phone is off except when I'm using it for something, or expecting a phone call. At home, people call me on my landline (VOIP actually)

I like being disconnected when I'm away from the house, and there's rarely a text, email or phone call that really needs my immediate attention.

nice to know you've assumed whatever it is you've assumed about me and the number and variety of contact methods in my household.

Perhaps you weren't really in the Christmas cheer mode at the time you posted, it happens, this time of the year can be overwhelming ....

when/where I grew up, alerting someone about an emergency ment running for 6 hours across 2 mountains full of cactus, and that was only low emergency calls, then some locals taught us these smoke signals and we have happy as Larry ever since

Like your brain, just leave it on and it will go to sleep. Phones need to dream too.!

:) LOL, that was funny

Since I take care of my grandma and my mom lives in the house also, I always keep the phone charged up and on in case we need to contact each other late or if I need to step out for anything. All the people that know me will not call at crazy hours unless it's a dire emergency. And I usually have my smartwatch on so if I do get a call, it's vibration will alert me to a call. But that happens maybe... 0.01% of the time I've had a cell phone.
