Question from a Android Newb

I love my Thunderbolt (picked it up yesterday morning and haven't been able to put it down since) but I have a silly question that nobody seems to know the answer too so I am hoping someone in here can help.

I want the picture I took of my 2 kids to be my wall paper pic but when I choose it as my wall paper the picture is enlarged and cuts off one of my kids. How do I down size the picture and make it smaller so it fits as my wall paper?

I have literally been trying to do this for hours with no success

when u choose the pic as ur wallpaper it should ask u to size it or do it for u to fit the screen. it should b in the settings. or click on the pic n should have settings or size option.
