Question re: long-used 3rd party apps vs. Samsung or Google apps

I have been using Sound Profile app for years, as well as Alarm Clock Extreme. I'm wondering if there are "in-house" apps that would work just as well and perhaps cause fewer glitches?
I'm curious to hear from other folks who have used either of these apps and their experience with the S23-ultra.

I don't use too many Samsung apps. For the most part, most of what I use from Samsung is in Good Lock.

I use Smart Alarm (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jp.tanyu.SmartAlarm) for my alarm clock. Great feature list and updated regularly.

Don't really use much of anything for sound as I normally use external speakers for stuff.

I don't even use OneUI, Nova Launcher here.

I think Samsung has some great offerings, but the customizations are not to my style.

Also, not a fan of Ads.
