Question Regarding Vibration Settings

Coming from the Blackberry world, I was used to putting my phone on vibrate and then when I get an email, text or whatever, the phone would be able to vibrate too.

Is there such a setting like this for the Droid world?? I found out when I lower the ring to vibrate there is no alert for emails, texts etc??

Figured I must be missing something. I see you can make it vibrate and ring on email, but that wasn't what I was looking for.

I am waiting on my droid x to come and also leaving blackberry and want to know this same question too!! I was just wondering it and it seems someone already beat me to asking it.

You have to go into the settings for each email account and check the box for vibrate. There is unfortunately no stock profile manager like the BB. The only third party one i've seen so far is Locale but I haven't tried it yet.
