Question: Sprint S5 Wifi to LTE handoff not working

Quick question, whenever I use wifi then turn it off my S5 (dated I know, need to upgrade) will never switch to LTE unless I restart it. It will only pick up 3G until the restart. I have tried toggling airplane mode but that doesn't work. Thoughts? Advice? Thank you!

Go to Settings>Wi-fi, tap Menu>Advanced, and turn off Smart Network Switch (if you have it). Does that make a difference?

B. Diddy, thank you for your reply. It is already switched off. So I don't think that's it. I appreciate the try though!

If I recall correctly, Sprint often includes its own network management app as a preinstalled piece of bloat. Might be something like Sprint Zone. Check your Sprint branded apps, and see if there's something there that tries to manage network connections. You might have to dig into the menu of each Sprint app, because the app in question might seem like it's unrelated.

Thanks for the advice. I don't see anything that would overtly make the signal pick up 3G and not LTE after usising wifi, but I'll fidget around a little more.

Just making sure--you are still on Sprint, right? You're not using an unlocked Sprint phone on another network?

Sorry for the delay, yes I am on Sprint with a stock Sprint Galaxy S5.
