Question with cm10 and paranoid

So I updated to phantoms nightly from 11/02 and paranoid android 2.50 2 days ago
It updated pa but didn't seem to update cm10 tho if I do just cm10 it will show the updated version where I can update cm10 from the about phone

I'm confused on what you're asking. PA is based off of CM10, but they're two different ROMs.

I thought that PA was pretty much on top of cm10 it self (kinda like a skin with extra features)

Nope. Paranoid Android is a complete standalone ROM. It's built from CM source code and not an add on.

Head over to XDA to download the latest CM10 ROM for our device -- it is now in Beta 1 stage and reports are positive with a few bugs that may be worked around.

I'm at PA 2.53 and I haven't seen a single problem yet except that syncing contacts to Facebook still doesn't work

I'm on PA 2.53 also, battery life was horrible until I flashed this awesome tweak:
[Mod/Fix][Tweak][Nov 8] Jellybean Tweaks & Fixes [Alpha 3]

Huge difference!

Do I need to reflash pa and gapps or just wipe cache and dalvik and install

I highly suggest you read the instructions. It tells you everything you need to know.

Read through the thread to see what tweaks are being applied and to understand how you can reverse a tweak you don't like or is giving you problems.
