So i heard you need to use the cable that comes with the samsung 45w charger and not the one that comes in the box of the s22 ultra because the cable in the box is thinner so you wont get full 45w charging? Is this true?

Is it best to use the 45w charger with the s22 ultra?

Are you getting a 45w charger with your s22 ultra or using your old 25w charger?

If you plan on getting a 45W charger, you should know that it comes with a thicker cable in the package, and only with that cable you get the full 45W speeds, so avoid pairing the 45W charger with the thinner cable in the box (it will work, you just won't get the full 45W charging speeds).

This one I got on Amazon a few months ago, came charger and cable

I got that same one today. Plugged it into my Tab S7 and it reads "Super Fast Charging 2.0". The actual plug is a bit of a tank!

From what I've read I am going with a 25 watt charger. The brick for the 45 watt charger will diminish number of open sockets on a power strip.
I've also read there isn't much difference unless you are charging from 0 to 60 percent. My phone is seldom at 60% and never all the way to 0%.

Anybody know a good place to get Samsung OEM 25 watt charger brick with cable?

Luckily, I have an extra power strip that I can add new things to without covering up sockets on my old one. :)

The brick is wider but not thicker by much. I fit it right onto my power strip with no issues.

All:

please kindly note that the 45-watt fast charger from the S20 Ultra days have a different part number than this current 45-watt fast charger.

it is not possible to see what differences there are because Samsung doesn't give details in its product listing on samsung.com! very strange.

suffice it to say, they can't be identical since they have different product numbers.

i still have my two 45-watt chargers from the S20 Ultra days but with my $200 accessories freebie, i bought the new 45-watt charger anyway in order to ensure that everything will go well without issues.

look forward to learning from others what difference(s) there might be between those two 45-watt chargers! thanks.

I highly doubt there be a difference

Sticking with the charging theme, I have the Pixel Stand 2 charger which charges at 23w, will this charge at the same speeds for the Galaxy S22U?

If not, which wireless chargers do you guys recommend? Basically want the fastest wireless charging I can get.

I've always stuck to Samsung wirless chargers the new is 15w I believe that's the max u can for them

I just ordered the 2019 45w charger and the new 45w charger from Amazon. The 2020 version is $31 and the 2022 version is $50. Once I get the S22 Ultra next week I'm going to see if they have the same charging speed, if they do I'll return the more expensive one.

I ordered the 15w wireless charger from Samsung along with the 45w wall charger, so I'll be good to go with charging.
