I just got a new class 6 SD card for the gTab...16gb card. First off, I noticed the WHOLE tablet seemed faster...is this normal? I know that having a class 6 would speed up reading & writing to the card but I didn't think the whole system would seem faster!
Next question: I have a few nandroid backups I would like to move from the internal storage to the SD card because of their size. How will this affect CWM when ity comes time to restore? Or is there a way to point CWM to the external card so it will always look there & save there?
Last question (for now!): Any good apps to test the true speed of the card? I found an App called SD Tools that tested the speed but I am not sure how accurate it is? My write speed is showing 8.8MB/s and the read speed is 14.6 MB/s....now this is a class 6 card...do those speeds sound correct? Is there a better APP to try?
FYI...I'm running Brilliant Corners 1.2.1 overclocked to 1.4gHz
Thanks!
