Questions about the Watchband

I've had this band sitting brand new for years. This thread got me to thinking and I like it very much.

Is that a Neo? It's orange...

I actually like the orange contrast under the stainless housing and band.

So... as many of you know, I tried 3 metal bands last week. The one I loved has begun to get scratched. :( I really dig it, so I'm gonna keep it for dress occasions. I have ordered a leather band with a black PVD buckle that is theoretically less likely to scratch than bare stainless. I'll post photos when I get it.

Right now I am back to my stock Gear 2 band. I've hardly worn it and I now can notice small scratches on its buckle. I found kind of a cool solution. I had some black carbon fiber (looking) phone skin material I got a long time back and didn't like. I cut a small piece and covered my buckle. In person, it actually looks pretty slick.

Thats a good idea and got me thinking that one could do the same with some clear tape if they want to retain the same look as original.
