Looking to swap from an iPhone to the Droid Mini but have a few questions. Thanks to all for taking the time to read and respond.

1. Does Light Flow work with the notification LED for active notifications? Can different colors be used for different notifications ala Blackberry with BeBuzz?

2. Can notifications be turned off while on a phone call ala Blackberry? I searched through settings in the phone but couldn't find anything while in the VZW store. I HATE when I'm on a call and my iPhone vibrates in my ear. I jailbroke and used Notiquiet to turn off SMS notifications but it doesn't work for emails.

3. Any way (through rooting or software) to change the treble in the earpiece ala Blackberry? Every one that I tried at the store was pretty fuzzy/bassy on full volume and not very clear sounding. I use my phone outside a good deal and need something with a loud, clear earpiece.

Yes, I've also thought about getting a Blackberry but the Android sideloading for apps seems to be more miss than hit and many apps won't work at all.

I've also considered the Moto X but it's larger and has a much dimmer screen at full brightness.

If you'll look you'll see it's not a very active forum.

Sorry, it's the truth. I don't have a mini so I can't help you. I wish others would respond to your question.

Gee, thanks.

Boy, the second snarky reply from somebody asking others to give their time & assistance for free!

I always thought Apple's "Genius Bar" was a silly name for a help desk, but those guys have my respect if they gave to contend with customers who have this kind of a sense of entitlement.

Need a Kleenex? Sad that you think you're help is so valuable that others should pay for it. Clownshoes.

Can't tell whether you're an Apple fanboy or just a garden variety troll.

I bet you have the Kleenex handy because you put your iPhone on vibrate to pleasure yourself while fantasizing over your self-importance.

I don't think you can turn notifications off while on a call. But just make the text a sound not on vibrate and maybe it won't vibrate in your ear

Wow. Very helpful replies.

The Mini is not as widely purchased as say a Samsung Galaxy class phone which translates into not as many users. Your questions are VERY specific and not everyone here will use the phone the same way you do. It is not that we are not being helpful, we just don't have the answers to your questions.

Stop feeding the troll.

You are not being helpful to anyone with those comments. Please do them on your own time with people who may appreciate them. I do not and certainly the OP does not.

1. Yes and Yes

2. Yes (via Light Flow)

3. Not sure, but there are various audio EQ apps available both for rooted and un-rooted phones that will tweak audio settings.
