questions on kangbang

I've been rooted and running the stock froyo debinged/debloated and read that you have to go back to stock to flash kangbang. Will this rom be ok to flash over or do i have to go back to dl09? Also i downloaded the kangbang 1.3 is that everthing, rom and kernal that is needed, i was having trouble getting the first one to download.
