Questions regarding quick charge

Does quick charge work with micro USB to USB type C?
If not, would it affect the battery life overtime?

Do you mean 5V 3A charging? No, it shouldn't work. You might get 2.4A via MicroUSB. That might get you a "Rapid Charge" indicator, but that doesn't mean you're getting 3A charging. You'd need a 12V car charging adapter with a USB-C port at 5V 3A and a USB-C cable.
