Anyone using the P9 quick charging brick have done any comparison with regular QC compatible charger?

I noticed charging with the Huawei Quick Charge charger (bought separately) it charges relatively quick till about 85%-90% then it throttles the charge to a crawl. Really.... Slowly. I know it's normal to avoid damaging the battery in the long run. It's ridiculously slow, the last 10% would take another 20-25mins to complete.

When using another QC compatible charger, it doesn't charges as quick but it is consistent right till 100%. Considering that, it seems both charges the phone in total equal time.

Only Huawei branded chargers will work. Just received this one. Works perfectly.

And it works in very interesting way. Yet I think it really saves a battery. I have a power meter in my 220V power outlet. At first charger kicks at 16W power mode. Later another mode I've noticed was some kind of trickle charging, when power meter showed the charger changing it's power used: 16W - 11.5W - 16W - 11.5W. Just more later - steady 11.5W. And it has to do a lot not with how much battery left, but with it's temperature. If your phone just feels warm in your hand - the charger won't kick to 16W mode even at the beginning.

The final result here: started charging at 34%. 30 minutes later I had 74%. With 3000mAh battery inside 40 percent in 30 minutes seems to be quite impressive to me.

PS. Phone also indicated charger properly, so you will see on-screen message it is not "Charging", but "Fast Charging".
