Quick (dumb) Question

If I backup my SD card to my HDD on my computer and wipe the phone clean to install a new rom, if I put everything that was on the SD card back onto the card will it accept the data?

I'm mainly concerned with contacts. I could give a crap about app data.

Yes it will. But your contacts should be synced if you use a GMail account with your contacts saved there. Once you log in to your GMail, it will automatically put your contacts in your phone. Hope this helps
