Earlier this week I was using my camera and it jammed (or something) which required the phone to be turned off (after it lagged for about a minute it gave me that option). Once I turned it back on (and subsequently tried multiple times again), the quick launch bar only hasthe Applications button on it. Also, all of the application icons (when hitting that) are in different places, and CONTINUE to switch around every time I've clicked on the applications button in the quick launch, with the exception of the apps I've downloaded from Amazon's app store (those are always in the last page over). In order for me to use the phone, messages or contacts, I have to click on the apps link and find the icon.

I have never added any roms, rooted, or squared my phone, and was hoping for a solution before I either bring it to a Sprint store or do a reset.

Any suggestions??

Go to all applications, hit the menu button and hit edit... then drag and drop applications to the quick launch bar!

So with that absolute basic explanation, do I get the "Hey this guy is an idiot" award?? Seriously, I should be banned for asking something that could be answered like that....

If that were the criteria for getting banned I would have banned myself a long time ago :p

Thx... I had the same issue and was trying to fix it on the main home screen and it wasn't working. So relieved!!!

if you press the power button while in camera mode, it will lock out all functions. you should see a lock icon toward top right corner of the screen. press power button again to unlock. found that out the hard way myself.

Same function in the video player.

Sent from my Epic 4G, awaiting official Gingerbread.
