Quick question about Google Now

Coming from the MotoX I would ask Google now what's up when I received a new text so it would read it to me. I've tried this on the nexus 6 but it just searches. Is that command a moto voice only or am I doing something wrong.

If you really want that capability, look into Autovoice along with Tasker. It will basically allow you to set up your own commands. Tasker is paid, but has a 14 day trial. IMO, it is well worth the couple of dollars. It does have a learning curve - not exactly drag and drop.
