Quick question about googles latitude can you help me out?

Ok so unfortunately I have to have my Droid X replaced for the first time so I have only one question that of major importance to me. I use latitude on Google, when I get my new device will I lose my contacts in latitude or would I just need to login on my new device and everything will be the same?
