Quick question before I commit.

Guys, I'm on the edge of buying the XL.

Two questions if I may before I commit to buy.

1, Does Android still have that annoying ramp up ringtones and notifications thing going on? You know, when the phone starts ringing or a notification sound comes through, the first few seconds are very quiet then BOOM!

2, Earpiece volume when in-call. I had to return my iPhone 7+ due to low earpiece volume during a call. Is the Xl earpiece loud - I work in quite a noisy environment. My phone before (iphone 6s was nice and loud).

1. No.

2. If possible I recommend you visit a retail outlet that carries a Pixel (Verizon) and test call volume yourself since loudness is a subjective thing. That said, I personally have no issues with call volume on my phone.

Personally I think the volume should be louder. It is pretty quite compared to all the other cell phones I've owned, but that's just me personally . Mine doesn't do well in noisy environments
