Quick reply from the lock screen with Textra is no longer working.

I just updated my T Mobile LG V30 to Oreo and I no longer have the option for quick reply from the lock screen in Textra. I don't know if it was because of the Textra update on May 4th or does anyone know if it is something that may have been disabled in the Oreo update? That was the main reason I liked Textra...now it makes me unlock the screen to reply. Are there any other SMS apps or work-a rounds that let you do this? Thanks for any insight or advice in advance!

I think that's an Oreo security thing. For any input and text and everything the device has to be unlocked now. Not just for Textra, IIRC. Try the stock messaging app, it should be the same thing. It defeats the purpose if you ask me, I hate that too.
