Quick Responses

How does this work. All I can find is how to edit these, but how do you select one when a call is coming in. I only see decline, but that only tells the other party that I cannot be reached and to leave a message.

If the lock screen is showing you should see a little message icon in the lower left corner of the screen - if you swipe inward from that icon you'll see your Quick responses listed and you can select the appropriate one.

Seems like at the calling end the call will still go to voice mail though.

If the screen is unlocked then you just get the 'Decline' and 'Answer' options, with no apparent way to use a Quick Response.

OK, cool. I'll have to look for the icon next time I get a call when screen is locked. Wonder what actually happens on the other end though. Under help it says it is a text response, so maybe they get a text of the quick response and then get directed to voicemail. I'll have to test it out next time.
