Hello thereee! My phone is S20 fe. My contacts (or let's say some of my contacts cuz I'm not sure if it's all of them) can share me files when nearby without my acceptance. Like I'm using my phone and suddenly see that there are files sent to my phone using link sharing feature. It works even if my phone screen is off, my bluetooth is off, i set the "who can share with you" option on nobody. The files aren't downloaded to my device without my own acceptance tho ofc, but it receives everything as links without any acceptance. I've looked for the solution everywhere, but never found one. The answers were either that I should turn my quick share app's notifications on(which is already on) , or that I should set the "who can share with you" option to nobody (which again i set). It works for them but whenever I try to send files to themselves, a text message will be sent to them containing the link, instead of it(the link) just getting received on their devices without any acceptance.
(By link I meant the notification you receive which will open a panel containing files to download when tapped on.)

If you share content between your devices with same Google Account, device that receives automatically accepts the transfer. If you share content from the clipboard of your own device, content is automatically copied when someone receives it.

I'm not understanding what you're looking for, I guess. If you only receive the link and nothing is downloaded, you essentially have not received anything except an offer to share something from your contact.

I'm not able to do any testing currently or I would. In the meantime, a few questions.

Have you shared with these people/this person before? Perhaps it is some kind of memory thing where they are added to list, visible or invisible, making it OK for them to offer a share to you.

How are they using Quick Share to share these links? Are they using the Nearby Share option, you Google profile option, or some other option from the Quick Share option list?

Without someone nearby for me to test with I'm not able to preform any tests to see what reactions I get, but if it is a matter of, because you've shared with them in the past they are able to do this, you might try clearing the cache and/or the data for your Quick Share app. Finding the app wasn't like finding other apps for me. I needed to open Settings>Apps>Quick Share, when I tried just searching for the app I only got options for the settings. I'm thinking that clearing the data for the app may remove any connections you've previously made and not allow anything through, including links...? IDK.
