Quick WiFi Question

Hello.

What's best for this phone, when away from a WiFi network, in terms of battery? Having 4G on + wifi on or 4G on only with wifi off? Of course at home I only run WiFi.

If you leave wifi on, the wifi radio will "hunt" for networks. So if battery life is your goal, turn it off when you are not going to be using it.

turn off wifi when leave home/work... when at home/work, turn off data and use wifi only (battery will last a LOT longer)

Lastly, ever since my Thunderbolt I've wondered, does google location services need to be ticked on every time? I've left it on always, even when I don't need it. What does it do and when do I need it enabled?

most of the time my location services are off, unless i use gps...
